- Thanks for stopping by! I am a teacher in Southern Indiana and this blog is a way for me to share my ideas and reflect on my work. Currently, I am teaching reading and music to a wonderful bunch of kindergarten and 1st grade students. In the past, I have held a variety of educational positions while working my way up in the field. I have been a kindergarten teaching assistant, a tutor, a sub, and held temporary positions in a 1st grade classroom and in a 4th and 5th grade split grade level advanced placement classroom. The experiences I have had have been so very different, but have played an important part in the kind of teacher I am and the kind I want to be. I am so excited to find out what comes next and continue to learn and grow into a teacher that can provide her students with meaningful learning opportunities which will foster a love for learning!
